I’m most often found at home, immersed in a good book, in my personal library—complete with a cozy cat for company. I enjoy reading across a wide range of genres and dream of writing my own books someday. Beyond reading, I have a passion for painting, archery, archaeology, baking, stargazing, and horseback riding. When I’m not curled up with a book, I’m usually off exploring the North with my Canadian husband, capturing memories through photography and discovering new cuisines.

What drew you to serve at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³», and how do you see God working in the lives of students here?
After spending years in a small town, I was ready for a new chapter and chose to move to Longview, Texas. I’ve always enjoyed the higher education environment, and I especially value being part of a Christian community where faith can be openly expressed. That’s why Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» felt like a great place for me to serve.

What do you love most about walking alongside students as they discover their calling and prepare for the future?
There’s a unique joy in welcoming a new student who’s excited to continue their educational journey. At LETU, students can feel confident knowing their faith will be nurtured and their minds challenged. It’s a meaningful stepping stone into the world.

What advice would you give a student who is nervous about stepping into this next season of life?
For those feeling uncertain about their next phase in life, I encourage them to strengthen their relationship with God and seek out a godly community that offers support and encouragement. Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» is a wonderful place to begin that journey.
